Raising funds for the arts and our NHS heroes!

"Coronavirus (COVID-19) cannot stop creativity!"

 

After having to postpone their pantomime - Robin Hood -due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Avocet Theatre Company launched an exciting and unique opportunity to ensure that creativity wasn't stopped because of Lockdown! 

 

To support the arts and our NHS heroes, Avocet Theatre Company members, past and present, reunited for this special production filled with music, laughter and dance - all from the comfort of their own homes!

 

The Virtual Variety Show was free to view for one month, and donations were encouraged through JustGiving and split with the NHS. The group raised just over £1,000 for good causes.

 

Acts included, comedy sketches, musical performances and 'virtual group numbers'. We could not be more proud of this event which shows that ATC cannot be stopped!
